Here we have our guide on how to provide website access for the most popular website platforms.
If your website platform is not on this list, please mention so during your on boarding call and we will assist you with providing us access. Don’t feel stressed if you can’t easily figure it out
Below are the resources to reference for the respective platform
Wordpress:
- Login to your WordPress Dashboard using your personal administrator account.
- On the left Dashboard Menu click on “ Users > Add New”.
- Enter the Username as ‘The Market Base’ & the Email as ‘support@mymarketbase.com’
- Change the Role to “Administrator”.
- In the Password field click the “ Show” button to reveal the gibberish password that WordPress has automatically created for you.
- Copy the Username & the Password, paste them into an email, & send them to the person you want to give admin access to.
- Click on the “Add New User” button to finish creating the new user.
Wix:
- Go to Roles & Permissions.
- Click Invite People.
- Enter our email address ‘support@mymarketbase.com’
- Select the checkbox next to the “Admin” role.
- Click Send Invite.
Squarespace:
- Log in to your Squarespace admin panel and select Settings.
- Click Permissions.
- Click Invite Contributor.
Fill in the Contributor information and choose Permissions.
- Name: TheMarketBase
- Email: support@mymarketbase.com
- Permissions: Administrator
- Click ‘Save’. We will receive your invitation from there
Shopify:
- Log into your admin panel and navigate to Settings > Account.
- Click on the Add a staff member button:
- Enter a first name, last name, and email address for the new staff member and click on Send invite
- First Name: Market
- Last Name: Base
- Email: support@mymarketbase.com
